Sound

Some pages contain sound.  You may need to download the Windows Media player plug-in (for Netscape Navigator) or ActiveX control (for Microsoft Internet Explorer). The place to get these is as follows:  http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/   To start the sound click the button on the right hand end of the top menu bar. The sound will be played from a small pop-up window at the top left of your screen.  If you have disabled pop-ups it may not be possible to play sound.

Adobe Acrobat

Some documents may require Adobe Acrobat Reader.  You download it at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
